Here is our latest and greatest direct mail effort, the Snap Maier. If you are looking for a mailer that works, is not overdone, and has a great history of getting opened, the snap mailer is for you. The Snap Mailer is cost effective and response generating, a combination that is hard to find.

Shown Here are some of the current snap mailers we have in production. The forms are pre-printed and laced with a special glue that seals the snap mailer when extreme pressure is applied. Prior to the pressure sealing process the forms are laser printed with all of the address information and marketing information to be used by the individual company sending it out. Brown Envelopes

BROWN KRAFT DIRECT MAIL ENVELOPES!

Brown kraft envelopes are a great way to get your direct mail the attention it need to stand out form the other mail in the box.  Brown Kraft envelopes cost slightly more than a white envelope but are well worth the investment. These envelopes look a bit like paper grocery bags turned into an envelope, very unique.

Alot of times brown kraft envelopes are confused with manila envelopes. Manila envelopes are more of an orange color.  Manila envelopes like the Brown Kraft are an excellent choice for direct mail.

Now that we are firmly plugged into the age of Internet shopping, some may question the relevance of direct mail. Definitive research conducted by comScore for the United States Postal Service shows that consumers rely now more than ever on catalogs and flyers to find and shop at your website.

CATALOGS GET THEM CLICKING:

Online consumers that received a catalog from a retailer were twice as likely to make an online purchase at that website. Over all their website spending was 16% higher while they were making 15% more transactions when compared to those that did not receive a catalog. See the figure 1 below, the online buyer purchase rate peaked with catalog recipients followed by flyers/postcard and non receivers. Catalog receivers accounted for 37% of a retailers website sales even though they only comprised 22% of total visitors, see figure 2.

Not only do catalogs increase your sales, but research shows catalogs also help attract consumers to a website. In fact catalog recipients make 16% more visits, viewed 22% more pages and spent 15% more time at the retailers site. CATALOGS INCREASE THE CONSUMERS TRUST IN A WEBSITE:

The recipient of a catalog is 75% more likely to enter into the secure sessions on websites where the transaction process begins. Knowing that a company has invested in creating, printing and mailing a catalog increases the customers trust in the company that sent the catalog, thus increases the chance of a sale on-line or otherwise.

CATALOGS EXCITE CUSTOMERS ACROSS THE BOARD:

Red Envelope

Here is a red envelope we received form MercyCorps. The letter inside was a mail merged laser letter 8.5 x 14 with a detachable form that was perforated.  Inside was a #9 reply envelope with a giant window envelope.

The thing that we liked about this mailer was the red airmail style envelope. It gets attention and generates a sense of urgency. Nice job MercyCorps! good luck with your campaign.

Direct Mail and Stamps

When to use a Direct Mail Stamp

Direct mail stamps work great when used properly. There are a couple of reasons why you would want to use a stamp instead of a meter or permit imprint. The first reason is stamps give your mail a personal look. When people receive your mail they think you put a stamp on it by hand. They have no idea your mailing house applied those stamps by machine. On the other hand, when people see a permit imprint they might have an easier time placing your envelope into the recycle bin. The goal is to get them to read it now and bring the product or service you are offering to the top of their mind.

The Second reason is curiosity. We want the recipient to say “what is this?” – open the envelope and read the materials. It is all about being a priority and getting your message read. This is the job of the direct mail stamp. Mostly, stamps are used on envelopes, not self mailers or catalogs. In some cases stamps can be used on postcards to give them a personalized look.

Here Are Some Examples Of How To Use A Stamp On Plain White Envelopes:

Example 1 below - This is the best way to use a Bulk Mail Stamp. No company name on the return address. Plain white envelope peaks curiosity.

Example 2 below - Recipient can see that this is an advertisement. Stamp still adds a personal look but value is deducted for the “Furniture Sale” slogan.
